Dora M. Kalff Sandplay
A non-verbal form of therapy that offers a safe and protected space where the complexities of the inner world are explored and integrated into the psyche for emotional healing. Working in the sand can open the door to the unconscious world and reveal concerns that are inaccessible in talk therapy. As the unconscious emerges, it is integrated into a person’s sense of self and can elicit behavior change.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
An effective form of trauma treatment in which clients experience the emergence of insight, changes in memories, or new associations. After EMDR, clients generally report that the emotional distress related to the memory has been eliminated, or greatly decreased, and that they have gained important cognitive insights.
